Summary: An AU based on the premise that Chester died trying to get home and broke Dominion. The Avvie Incursions are worse than ever and since the Grimms never came to Dominion, Dante and Jack are left to face them alone. Jack still dies and with no one left to vouch for him, the Bremen Elders turn Dante out.

Dante goes from village to village, trying to help, but finally breaking down under the weight of unjust accusations.
Notes: Made for donotpassgo's apocalypsebang entry: Once Upon A Midnight Bleeding (A Tragic Fairy Tale). So sorry you couldn't finish it! I have to completely spoil the plot for this mix to make sense (because it's really OOC for the Show's Dante) so fair warning.

I started to write another episode — but I've hit a wall and don't know how to end it. I swear, I will never complain about the pacing on tv shows again. I HAVE THINGS TO GET OUT — I DON'T HAVE TIME TO RESOLVE A SCENE FOR COMMERCIAL. And now I have a dump truck full of exposition and I'm at the resolution of the episode.

So as I work it out, Chester's backstory got filled out. ~~Just in case this series is well and truly dead, I thought I'd post it.~~ (Roadblock overcome with Deus Ex Machina. Still posting this.)

Flowers As FanArt (sorta?)

I feel that this requires some explanation. In RL I sell flowers for a living. I'm a floral designer. My boss ordered in these new vases that are a bit.. strange they're wavy on the top and have holes cut out of them. They also come in a bright fuchsia, an intense orange and a sorta blah grassy green. The same day the shipment came in we got the most beautiful deep purple callas.

It occured to me, out of the blue that Chester would LOVE them. Especially in combination. I had to combine the two. Sadly there is no real Chester to gift them to so... I sold them. I am not sure how that reads but the guy who bought them said they where for his girlfriend "Dolly" which I feel makes it worth it.

Rocks Fall here. I'll be recapping Grimms for what will undoubtedly be its very short run. I will tell you from the onset that I've drunk the Cheshire Software punch and am enjoying the ride.

Black Screen. A... what is that? OH! Branches scroll up on the screen and create the word "Grimms." I do like the title design. It's simplistic and cheap, yes, but it's also very "fairy tale book."

So I've decided to start telling the story of Grimms the TV Show and it's fandom. You are welcome to read, comment, join in, or lurk as you wish.

The Story Thus Far:

Supernatural and White Collar have ended. Supernatural lasted 7 seasons and ended in May. Jensen was quoted in interviews as intending to sleep for another eight years, but the following February has arrived and Supernatural fandom hears word that he's landed another series.

( Reactions vary at the show's description. )

A fan dubs the show "Hart to Hart meets Supernatural" - a label that sparks all sorts of fusion fic.

( Fans aren't happy about the choice of networks either. )

Fandom and FOX - never an easy alliance. But the situation explodes when set hunters stumble upon the production in Vancouver and Matt Bomer is revealed to be in the show.

( Confusion reigns. )

Some of the newer fans try reason. Pity them.

Jensen plays a title character and it's assumed by the Jensen/Dean-centric that Matt's role is secondary.

More casting confusion occurs when Billy Campbell is apparently recast after filming by Joe Flanigan. The lines between SG:Atlantis and Supernatural fandom collide.

On the heels of Joe's casting announcement, a fan with "connections in the industry" finds a screener copy.

The Meme That Started It All

So in January, there was a "TV Show Meme" that I found through Alice fandom. As some of my friends can attest, "Universe Building" is something I enjoy so I was all over this.

Then it happened. werepuppyblack gave me - Prompt: Fairy tales are real. Sort of. Well, they keep happening anyway. Someone really ought to see about that...

Now the Rules were to "create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them, add in any actor photos, character bios, and show synposis that you want"

Unfortunately my friends encouraged me and I took it a little too far. When people who weren't my friends encouraged me, I started writing more. When people who didn't even KNOW ME showed up with encouragement showed up, I created the com.

Here's the original premise:

Grimms: Once Upon A Time... This Winter
A weekly hour long serial following siblings Rebecca and Ryan Grimm into the darker side of fairy tales.
